<br />TH Korea's Busan Port Authority (BPA) says that it has finalized planning framework and design of<br>US$5.2m cruise terminal project and the construction will be commenced in this month.
<br />The port says the cruise terminal will accommodate many infrastructure and facilities such as souvenir<br> shops, immigration office and restaurants.
<br />The construction will be completed in November this year and the port says that the terminal is expected<br> to make a significant contribution to the revitalization of cruise industry.
<br />Cruise vessels have from the main cruise lines have called at Busan Port following APEC 2005 Korea but <br>the absence of a dedicated cruise terminal has hampered attempts to expand as a cruise destination.
<br />Thirty-eight cruise vessels are expected to call at Busan Port by the end of this year.
